NEWS 13 - CAMPING ON THE PINO HILL

Dear Guests

Following an ever increasing demand of our respected and respectable clientele, Villa del Pino offers from season 2008 onwards our new camping package for the discerning guest.

Against a modest surcharge of only Euro 100 per day and person are we offering to not anymore be shocked by the ever increasing outrageous behaviour of guests not frequenting anymore our many excellent restaurants but instead preferring to eat out of a plastic bag on the premises. Low style guests will find a litter container every 20 meters around our swimming pool and on the many terraces and in the rooms. There will be chopped wood in the bedrooms for those who wish to light a fire to roast sausages and eat them in bed. Our terracotta floors will be replaced with easily washable plastic flooring and our crystal glasses will be replaced with plastic goblets. There will be new bed linen in plastic. Needless to say, we will keep our fine glasses for those who really prefer to bring cheap supermarket wine into the house of a winemaker and insist on using precious glasses for cheap plonk. Furthermore will we work hard on convincing the many talented chefs in the cosy and elegant restaurants in the neighbourhood to close their kitchens and open direct sale pizza parlours instead (the deep frozen stuff, never mind quality pizza of course!).

And we will be trying to secure cooperation with the supermarkets around and seek discounts for our poor gourmands.

Luckily, there is still a majority of gourmets and guests with decent behaviour and style frequenting us. For those will we keep on trying hard to serve decent dinners from time to time and to help in recommending and booking good restaurants which form an essential part of a perfect holiday in Tuscany.
